Women Development Cell, Darul Uloom Arabic College is a body of female students guided by three lady teachers, presided by the Principal. The main goal of WDC is the overall development of the girls in all spheres of life. The women cell has been pressed into service for the empowerment of girl students. This service unit takes care of creating social awareness, justice and infuses courage and fortitude amongst girls by undertaking certain socially useful projects for women empowerment, women and justice, female health hazards etc. The Cell endeavors to alleviate the negative forces that confront women, both on the campus and surroundings. Other important objectives include giving career guidance, conducting health awareness classes, arranging classes about community living. It also gives training on farming and social work. The college also has a tailoring unit working under WDC. The Women Development Cell helps to satisfy the needs of women and empowers them. The issues related to the overall well-being of women are monitored by the cell. As a part of empowering women, debates, talks, seminars, film shows and exhibitions are conducted by the Cell. It also celebrates Women’s Day. Orientation, training and refresher courses for women empowerment were attended by Women Cell Coordinator of the college
