Library Council
A Library Advisory Committee is a group of individuals who provide guidance, recommendations, and feedback on the management and operation of a library. Typically, members of this committee include library staff, community members, or other stakeholders who have an interest in the library’s services.
The main roles of this committee are to:
- Advice on policies related to library services, programs, and resources.
- Support library development by suggesting improvements or new initiatives.
- Represent the community by ensuring the library meets the needs of its users.
- Assist with funding efforts, advocacy, and public relations.
